Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

This Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, renewals, and billing support work for IssueClear subscriptions. Paddle acts as merchant of record for paid subscriptions and processes payments, taxes, refunds, invoices, and chargebacks. If this Policy conflicts with Paddle's buyer terms or refund policy for the payment transaction, Paddle's terms control payment processing, refunds, and chargebacks.

1. Free trials

New accounts may receive a free trial. You will not be charged through IssueClear until you start a paid subscription through Paddle checkout. Trial features, limits, and duration may change for future users.

2. Subscriptions and renewals

Paid subscriptions renew monthly unless canceled before the next billing period. Prices, taxes, and payment details are shown in the checkout or billing flow before purchase. Taxes are calculated by Paddle where required.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel an active subscription through the Service's billing management experience where available. In the current implementation, cancellation is scheduled for the next billing period, so paid access may continue until the end of the current period. Account deletion may request immediate subscription cancellation.

If you cannot access the billing management experience, contact us at [email protected] and include the account email associated with the subscription.

4. Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction or renewal date. Refund eligibility is determined by Paddle, applicable law, and this Policy. A request within 14 days does not guarantee approval unless a mandatory legal right applies. Requests made after 14 days are generally not eligible for a refund unless required by applicable law or approved by Paddle. Refunds are not issued directly by IssueClear; if a refund is approved, Paddle processes it to the original payment method or another method it supports.

We may decline or refer refund requests involving fraud, abuse, excessive use, violations of the Terms, chargeback disputes, sanctions issues, or requests outside Paddle's permitted refund workflow. This Policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights that apply under law.

5. Plan changes and prorations

Upgrades, downgrades, and plan switches may be billed immediately, prorated, delayed until the next billing period, or limited by the Service's plan-change controls. The billing flow controls the final amount and timing.

6. Chargebacks and billing problems

If you have a billing issue, contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can help route the issue through Paddle. Abusive, fraudulent, or unresolved chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of access, subject to applicable law.

7. Contact

You can request a refund by contacting us at [email protected] with your account email and any Paddle order or transaction details. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, you may also request billing support or a refund directly through Paddle at paddle.net.
